Scarlet Macaw Watching

There are barely 300 wild scarlet macaws left in Belize, and most of them gather along the river valleys of southern Stann Creek and Red Bank to feed. This half-day expedition puts you on the water early, when the air is still cool and the birds are most active, gliding low over the treetops in flashes of crimson, gold, and electric blue.
