About this adventure

Strap in and step off the platform into one of the longest zipline circuits in Belize, threaded high through the green cathedral of Bocawina National Park in the Stann Creek foothills. You'll glide cable to cable above the canopy, the warm jungle air rushing past as monkeys grumble somewhere below and toucans clatter through the treetops. Each line opens up a new view of unbroken rainforest rolling toward the Maya Mountains, and the platforms are perched high enough to make your stomach drop in the best possible way.

Bocawina is the kind of place that rewards you twice. Between flights you'll hike short forest trails past buttressed ceiba trees and the ruins of an old Maya settlement, your guide pointing out leafcutter ant highways and the calls hiding in the leaves. The reserve protects a stretch of true broadleaf jungle, dense and humming, where the only soundtrack is birdsong, cicadas, and the distant rush of falling water.

When the last cable is behind you, the reward is the cool plunge pool below Antelope Falls or Bocawina Falls, depending on conditions, where you can wade in and let the spray wash off the adrenaline. You leave with rubber legs, a memory card full of canopy shots, and the quiet satisfaction of having conquered the jungle from the sky.
