About this adventure
Some places you can only earn. This one waits at the end of a trail that twists deep into the Stann Creek rainforest, and the only way in is behind the throttle of your own four-wheel-drive ATV. Fuel up, fire the engine, and follow your guide off the main road and into the green, where the track turns to rutted mud, the canopy closes overhead, and shallow creeks splash up over your wheels with every crossing.
This is hands-on, boots-muddy Belize. You'll lean into the turns, gun it up the rises, and feel the jungle press in close, broadleaf giants draped in vines, butterflies scattering off the trail, the calls of unseen birds echoing through the trees. Your guide leads the way and reads the terrain, so all you have to do is hold on, throttle steady, and grin through the splatter as the wild backcountry rolls past.
Then the trees open and there it is: a secluded waterfall spilling into a clear jungle pool, far from any crowd, all yours for the afternoon. Cut the engine, kick off your shoes, and slide into that cool mountain-fed water. Float under the cascade, let the spray wash off the trail dust, and soak in the beauty of the jungle paradise you just conquered, one muddy mile at a time.
